What is Stopwatch?

A digital stopwatch is a precision timing tool that measures elapsed time with millisecond accuracy. Unlike a regular clock, a stopwatch measures time intervals between actions, making it perfect for timing events, tracking performance, and recording split times. This digital version offers additional features like split timing, event logging, and the ability to export timing data.

Use Cases

  • Sports and Athletics: Timing races, training intervals, performance tracking.
  • Scientific Research: Timing experiments, observation intervals, process durations.
  • Education: Timing presentations, tests, lab experiments.
  • Professional Use: Task duration tracking, meeting time management, process optimization.

How to Use

  1. Basic Controls: Click "Start" to begin, "Pause" to stop temporarily, "Split" to record intermediate times (laps) while running, and "Reset" to clear everything.
  2. Reading the Display: Shows total elapsed time broken down into Hours, Minutes, Seconds, and Milliseconds.
  3. Managing Events: View Start/Pause/Split times in the Events panel. Use the buttons below the panel to Select, Copy, Download, or Open events in a new tab.
